A popular city centre micro-pub will close its doors tomorrow because of extreme temperatures and a danger to life warning.
Hereford Beer House will be shut in response to the Met Office's rare red warning for extreme heat for the city.
The closure is a precaution to protect staff from temperatures expected to reach up to 37C, the West Street business said.
In a statement, the micro-pub said: "With extreme heat forecast for Hereford tomorrow, we've decided to close the bar, to protect the health and well-being of our staff.
"Please stay hydrated, check in on any vulnerable friends, family and neighbours, and if you or anyone else is exhibiting symptoms of heat exhaustion, call 111 or follow the advice on the NHS website.
"Heat exhaustion can develop into heatstroke, which is a life-threatening condition.
"Please look after yourselves, friends, family and neighbours."

Hour-by-hour forecast as red warning for extreme heat begins
The Met Office has issued a red warning for extreme heat, with a forecasted high in Hereford of 37C - though it could be 39C in Ross-on-Wye.
The warning from the Met Office means it expects population-wide adverse health effects, not limited to those most vulnerable to extreme heat, leading to serious illness or danger to life. It has also warned substantial changes in working practices and daily routines will be needed, with the warning in force Wednesday and Thursday.
Hereford Beer House, which opened in November 2015, confirmed it would be open as usual today (Thursday) from 4pm to 10pm, and on Friday from 12pm to 10pm.
