A HUNT has been launched for a Herefordshire man who failed to appear in court.
Gwent Police are searching for 35-year-old Michael Hitchings from Herefordshire.
A warrant has been issued after Hitchings failed to appear at Newport Magistrates' Court on February 19 after being charged with assault.
A spokesperson for the force said he also has links to Tredegar in South Wales.
