A PETROL station has lowered its prices once again, bringing some relief to motorists in Herefordshire.
The move comes despite high motoring costs across the county amid the war in the Middle East.
The Maple Leaf Service Station in Bromyard has reduced petrol to 145.6p per litre and diesel to 169.6p per litre, making it one of the more competitively priced petrol stations in the county.
The business said the decision was made to support the local community during what it described as challenging economic times.

A spokesperson for Maple Leaf said: “We’ve done it, we’ve dropped our prices.
"No matter what’s going on behind the scenes, no matter how tough things get, we are always going to support our community.
“We know times are hard right now and every little saving makes a difference.
"That’s why we’re constantly pushing and doing everything we can to bring prices down."
The move comes amid continued concern over fuel price volatility nationwide, with many drivers regularly travelling further afield in search of cheaper options at the pumps.
In comparison, fuel prices at Newtown Cross were listed at 155.9p per litre for petrol and 176.9p per litre for diesel.
At Asda Hereford, HR2 7JE, the price of petrol is 154.7p and 188.7p for diesel.
Towards the North of Hereford, City Service station, HR1 2BG has advertised their prices as 157.9p for petrol and 191.9p for diesel.
Local drivers have welcomed the price drop, with several saying it would make a noticeable difference to weekly commuting and work-related travel costs.
