PART of a south Herefordshire A-road that connects drivers with two other key roads is to close next month for five days.
The A4137 from the A40 junction near Whitchurch to Burnthouse Green, Marstow will close from Monday, February 2, to February 6.
The closure will be in force each day (including February 6), between 9am and 3.30pm.
According to Herefordshire Council contractor, Balfour Beatty, the signed diversion will be via the A4137, A40, A49 and vice versa.
Many motorists use the A4137 turn-off from the A40 to continue onto the A49, passing through Hereford.

A spokesperson added: "We will do all we can to provide vehicular access to properties, although there may be times when we are not able to do so safely or there may be delays.
"You can get help and guidance from the dedicated marshals on site."
Ash dieback disease is said to be affecting the busy stretch of road, with symptoms of the disease including dead branches, blackened leaves which hang on the tree, dark diamond-shaped lesions where branches meet the trunk, and leaves falling from the tree early.
