Six Herefordshire libraries now offer free use of new tablet computers.

The devices, funded by Government and Friends' group initiatives, are available to customers at Hereford, Ross, Leominster, Ledbury, Kington, and Colwall libraries.

Library membership is required, but joining is easily done online or at any library.

An extra set of tablets are intended for outreach work with partners, including the DWP and Age UK.

Councillor Harry Bramer said: "Having these tablets available in our libraries and for outreach work helps to improve digital access."

Jon Chedgzoy, Libraries and Archives Manager, added: "The tablets are now ready and waiting and our team are really looking forward to supporting members in their use."
