A DEPUTY headteacher at one of the county's largest high schools has been named Teacher of the Year.
Dr Moseley, the deputy headteacher of John Kyrle High School and Sixth Form Centre, was praised for his outstanding efforts at the Hereford Times Community Awards, held at the city's cathedral on October 29.
Dr Moseley has embarked on a mission at the market town high school to ensure that no GCSE pupil is "left behind".
From revision sessions to targeted academic interventions, Dr Moseley, who has been in the profession for over two decades, has maintained a strong focus on "research-informed practice" and leads on whole-school improvement.
His innovations include daily reporting using an app that has improved accountability and reduced low-level disruption.
Speaking after collecting the award, Dr Moseley said: " {I'm} really humbled, really proud of the school, really proud of everything that we've done, and especially proud of my colleagues and the students who have put so much work into what we do.

Dr Moseley was presented with an award by a representative of John Finch Computers, who deliver bespoke IT services throughout the county.

Speaking of the other finalists, which included Louise Lacey of Madley Primary School and Katie Reynolds of Hampton Dene Primary School, Dr Moseley said: "Listening to what was said about them; they were amazing, and I think in Herefordshire we are lucky to have some of the very best teachers.
"I was really lucky this evening, and I'm really proud to have been recognised."
