A group championing men's mental health in the county has been nominated for a Hereford Times Community Award.
Hereford Men's Mental Health group has been nominated for both the Mental Health in Hereford award and the Best Community Project or Group award.
The peer support group is based in the Community Building in Victoria Park, and meets every second and fourth Monday of the month.
One of the nominations described them as an "extraordinary group" providing essential mental health support to Herefordshire men who find it "very difficult to find a safe, secure, peer-to-peer group of like-minded similarly suffering men".

Another nominator said the group had given them a "renewed sense of confidence" after they found themselves in a "very dark place".
"Living in a rural area, I felt disconnected and unsure where to turn. Discovering HMMH was a turning point in my life," the nomination said.
"For the first time, I could speak openly about my mental health without fear of judgment.
"The empathy, understanding, and shared experiences within the group helped me realise I wasn’t alone.
"HMMH has given me a renewed sense of confidence, reduced my isolation, and supported me through recovery in a way no other service had."
The group, which was founded by Paul Stevens and Euan McPherson, previously won the Mental Health in Herefordshire award at the Hereford Times Health and Social Care awards for three years on the trot.
