The Hereford Times is thrilled to announce the launch of the Hereford Times Community Awards.

The 2025 Community Awards are a chance to highlight some of the incredible people, organisations, and stories which make the county truly shine.

From "bustling" businesses and inspiring educators to dedicated carers, heroes of health, farming, and social care, the awards are a chance to recognise the people who go "above and beyond".

The awards are a chance to say a "big, loud thank you", and to shine a spotlight on the "unsung champions, the quiet achievers, the everyday legends", and those who make a real difference without ever asking for praise.

The awards are not just a ceremony, but also a celebration of everything that makes the county special.

Finalists will be honoured in a "spectacular" evening at Hereford Cathedral on Wednesday, October 29, which will be "a night to remember"

Hereford Times editor Alicia Kelly said: "The Hereford Times Community Awards launches this week and I'm delighted that we've begun our search for the incredible people and organisations that make Herefordshire shine.

"The awards recognise all of the wonderful individuals that help make our county such a wonderful place to live. We're looking forward once again to hearing all about the people that lift up others - often without asking for thanks. Now's our chance to recognise them. Please get nominating."
