THERE seems to be a return of anti-motorists among your readers. These are either very young and able or are very intolerant of those of us who have lived in Hereford for 70-plus years.

I suggest that the cyclists among them and those who at present are still able to walk and carry their shopping count their lucky stars. I hope you live long enough to retain your abilities long into your later years.

Sadly, some of you will not. One day, you may have a loved one who suffers ill health preventing them from being as active and able as you currently are. One day, you will reach the stage in your life when you have to rely on motorised transport to carry out your human needs.

I hope that you have some sense and start paying into a pension, as the state pension will not be available to everybody in years to come. Enjoy your life, as it can soon be taken from you.
