There are many exciting events coming up in spring, for those based in and around Herefordshire.
Ex Cathedra’s Spring Concert Series
Ex Cathedra, a renowned British choir and early music ensemble, is set to showcase a series of diverse concerts this spring.
The Birmingham-based ensemble will perform at Hereford Cathedral on Monday, February 10, when they will present Chansons d’amour, featuring love songs from a range of composers, including Monteverdi, Mozart, the Carpenters, Burt Bacharach, and the Beatles.
The concert will also include poetry from Maya Angelou, Christina Rossetti, and Shakespeare, creating a romantic atmosphere in time for Valentine’s Day.
In March, Ritual 1631 will take audiences on a journey through Latin American Baroque music, incorporating African, American, and European styles.
Guest conductor Steven Grahl will lead the performance.
Tickets for the concerts can be purchased at excathedra.co.uk, starting from £15.
