TWO smashed-up cars have been wrapped in police tape on a busy Herefordshire road.
The wrecked Vauxhall Corsa and Citroen DS3 Racing remain on the side of the road on the A40 in Ross-on-Wye, near the St Mary's Garden Village.
The front ends of both vehicles have been completely smashed in. The Citroen DS3 Racing looks more seriously damaged.
The Corsa has been there since the beginning of last week, while the Citroen is understood to have crashed between Sunday and Monday morning (June 30 - July 1), meaning they are each from separate incidents.
The Corsa was blocking a lane on the Labels roundabout when it was first seen on June 24, but has since been moved onto the verge.
Drivers are met with the sight of both cars wrapped in police cordon tape on the bypass between the Labels roundabout and the Hildersley roundabout.

Both of the badly damaged cars remain unremoved as of 8.30pm on July 1.
They are well out of the way of oncoming traffic.
West Mercia Police have been approached for further information.
