A DRINK-DRIVER who failed to show up to court after being charged has been jailed.
Darren Squire entered guilty pleas for both drink-driving and failing to answer to court in Hereford when he later appeared before magistrates in Doncaster on January 16.
The court heard the 51-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Toyota Hilux on the M50 while over the drink-drive limit on November 7 last year.
An evidential breath test showed he had 61 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

Squire, of Manor Road in Askern, Doncaster, has been jailed for 22 weeks. He has also been banned for three years starting from his interim disqualification on January 16.
He must also pay a victim surcharge of £154.
