A MAN from Herefordshire has admitted two offences at a crime-hit estate that has seen at least 30 incidents so far this year.
Jason Clarke of Old Market Close, Ross-on-Wye, has been convicted of failing to comply with a community protection notice and being arrested by a constable for breaking bail conditions.
The convictions relate to incidents at Old Market Close in Ross-on-Wye between June 11 and June 18.
The 53-year-old appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster on June 19. He has been remanded on conditional bail until his next court appearance at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on July 3.

He must not enter a named property in Old Market Close, or contact a woman who lives there. These were conditions he broke earlier this month when he was arrested at the estate. This followed a community protection notice being issued to Clarke and bail conditions being imposed.
He was said to have been given these conditions again to prevent him re-offending.
Old Market Close is an area of Ross-on-Wye that is known to be a target for crime, with at least 30 reported offences in the estate so far in 2024.
