A HEREFORDSHIRE woman who assaulted her victim and caused them actual bodily harm has been sentenced and handed a community order.

On August 21 last year, Nikita Park, 23, was said by prosecutor Lauren Millichip to have attacked another woman in an assault.

The incident took place in Leominster.

Park pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Park, of Ballard Close, Ledbury, appeared at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on June 18, where she was handed a community order.

The community order will mean she has to comply with the instructions of a responsible officer and attend appointments with the officer or someone else nominated by them. She must complete up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities with the probation service.

She was also ordered to pay a fine of £50, prosecution costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114. She was not ordered to pay compensation as it was said this would “inflame the situation”.
