A FORMER pub turned tearoom in a beautiful black and white village in Herefordshire is up for sale.
The Kings House Tea Rooms and Restaurant is up for sale with agents Sidney Phillips for £450,000.
The agents said property is an "outstanding example" of black and white timber-framed construction in the centre of Pembridge, and offers scope for development with bed and breakfast potential.
The agents said the premises have operated as a licenced business for many years, first as a public house and then as a restaurant before more recently becoming a tearoom and coffee shop.
"It has unfortunately ceased trading due to the personal circumstances of the operator who was unable to continue trading due to the workload as a single operator and other family commitments," the agents said.

Inside, the property has a characterful open-plan trading area with further rooms on the ground floor, while upstairs there are five bedrooms, which the agents said provides large owners' accommodation with scope for letting.
Outside is a cottage-style garden with outbuildings, which the agents said provide further letting potential, while the village car park is immediately to the rear.
Sidney Phillips said the premises could be quickly reopened and re-established as a "destination venue" in the village, which is on Herefordshire's popular Black and White Trail.
