A HEREFORD man has been up before the magistrates after resisting police.
Joshua Holland entered a guilty plea to one count of obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty when he appeared before magistrates last month.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 22-year-old had resisted a police officer who was acting in the execution of their duty in an incident in Malvern on March 1. Holland was represented at the hearing on April 17 by Marilena Divitantonio.

Holland, of Aubrey Street, Hereford, was handed a six-month conditional discharge, with magistrates saying his guilty plea had been taken into account when deciding on the penalty.
This means that he will not be sentenced for the offence unless he were to re-offend within 12 months.
He was also ordered by Hereford magistrates to pay court costs of £135, which will go to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £26 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
