SHOULD money be spent on renewing the crossing outside Leominster’s Earl Mortimer College, or would it be better used filling dangerous potholes?
The work has taken nearly a fortnight and not yet finished. The crossing was working (as far as I am aware) perfectly.
Surely the most dangerous parts of our road system should be maintained rather than scheduled replacement just because it’s on a list.

It’s a shame the highways department doesn’t take the same attitude towards cleaning out of the drain gullies which, if routine maintenance had been carried out, would have saved countless potholes from being caused by water damage. That is why they were installed in the first place.
Eventually we will all need a 4x4 to get around this wonderful county.
