A MAN has been arrested after police swooped on train tracks near Kidderminster Railway Station.
The British Transport Police were called out to the line close to the town's station on Tuesday afternoon (April 16).
They were responding to reports of a trespasser on the line.
An eyewitness said they saw three police cars, as well as police dogs, at the scene.
Officers have now confirmed that a man in his 40s was arrested following the report of trespassing.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Kidderminster railway station at around 3.44pm yesterday (16 April) following reports of a trespasser on the tracks.
"Officers attended and a man in their 40s was arrested.”
