THIEVES wearing balaclavas and gloves broke into a Herefordshire shop. 

Crates of expensive brandy and Jack Daniels whisky were taken during the burglary that happened at West End Stores in Fownhope.

PCSO Adam Westlake said the perpetrators parked near Scotch Firs at around 11.45pm on Friday (April 12) before circling the perimeter of the property shortly afterwards.

They then forcefully entered the premises at midnight before leaving the scene at 12.43am the following morning. It is understood that the thieves also targeted high-value tobacco products and other types of alcohol; however, no tools were left behind.
