STAFF at two of the county's care homes are celebrating after being named as one of the best in the region. 

Hazlehurst Nursing Home and Whitchurch House, which are both near Ross-on-Wye, were selected by as a top 20 care home in the West Midlands.

A spokesperson at Hazlehurst Nursing Home, said: "At Hazelhurst, our ethos prioritises residents' needs. Our dedicated team ensures each person feels valued and cherished, turning our work into a heartfelt mission.

Meanwhile, Keith Brown, proprietor of Whitchurch House, said: “We are thrilled by this award we have received, and it means so much to our residents and their family members, it is testament to our wonderful staff team to know that people feel happy and supported in our care.

Lynhales Hall Nursing Home, near Lyonshall, also made the top 20.
