HEREFORD Indie Foodie Festival (HIF) has announced who the headline acts are this year. 

Gabrielle, famous for her chart-topping hit, Dreams, will be performing on the Friday night, with rock band, Feeder, heading the Sunday.

Newton Faulkner, known for his percussive style of guitar playing, will also be on stage on the Sunday, with the Lottery Winners heading the Saturday slot.

Bez, from the Happy Mondays, will also be doing a DJ set throughout the weekend, while there will be performances from local artists such as Eliza May, Jake of Diamonds and Jetski. 

As well as music, there will be plenty of street food, produce and a makers market at the festival which takes place in Aubrey Street from August 23 to 26.

"This year, HIF promises to build upon its past successes with an expanded four-day show, offering even more opportunities for attendees to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Herefordshire and dance the night away to some incredible artists," said festival director, Dorian Kirk.

"It will be the biggest yet and we couldn’t be more excited to be able to bring a show like this to the heart of Hereford city."

Fellow director, Callum Beattie added: "Each year, we aim to elevate the festival experience, welcoming huge acts to Hereford and creating an unforgettable atmosphere that celebrates our community's talent and creativity."
