IN my view neither 350 new houses nor an eastern river crossing should be allowed to be built on the edge of Hereford (Revealed, vision for hundreds of homes, March 21).
The Lugg flats is a remarkable and unusual environment for wildlife and fauna. It is natural and relatively unspoiled.

Once it’s gone it will be gone forever and my fear is that yet again Hereford will lose something unique in order to line the pockets of developers, politicians and whoever else stands to make financial gain from destroying our heritage.
Is there no end to the greed?
