MAY I ask why bother to shop or visit Hereford?
Life has been drained out as shops and businesses have closed, and car parking charges greatly increased. The traffic on the A49 is often static and polluting the air.
The call for a bypass was current 50 years ago.

Letters should not exceed 250 words and local issues take precedence.
Whilst cycle tracks may help locals, the bus services do not adequately help villagers or tourists visit the city.
Hereford needs a bypass more than any thing else if it is going to cut pollution and increase footfall.
Councillors, please save Hereford now before it deteriorates further.
