A COUNTRY pub with planning permission for a new house to be built on its garden is up for sale in Herefordshire.

The pub is on the market with agents McCartney's for £625,000.

The agents said the sale offers prospective buyers "an exceptional chance awaits to acquire a well-established public house" with planning for a three-bed property.

Inside, the Sun Inn in Winforton boasts plenty of character, with exposed beams, wooden and carpeted floors, stone walls, and fireplaces in the bar and restaurant area. 

The agents said the space currently has pub-style tables and chairs offering seating for around 45 people, with a brick and timber bar counter.
