THE price of a popular Hereford cocktail bar has been cut after it was put up for sale earlier this year.

The Tipsy Kat bar is up for sale as its owners look to concentrate on their other business commitments.

The bar opened in 2022 in Hereford's Bridge Street, promising visitors a unique experience.

The cocktail bar is the brainchild of Alex Gledhill and Karen Barnett, of JJ and Little Dots Cafe in the next door unit in Bridge Street, who opened the bar along with Karen's husband, Steve.

Speaking at the time of the bar's opening, Ms Gledhill said that it was an opportunity that they could not pass up when the unit became available.

The bar initially went on the market with commercial agents Sidney Philips for £40,000 (leasehold), but the price has now been reduced, as of March 14, to £30,000.

The agents said that the Tipsy Kat offers "a unique experience to Hereford", offering a recently refurbished modern and stylish bar with the benefit of outdoor seating.

But, they said, the owners had now decided the time has come to sell their interest to new operators who could really drive the business forward due to their other business commitments.

"It is also at the heart of Hereford's town centre leisure circuit and resides on the busy Bridge Street being close to a number of other well known leisure outlets including pubs, bars and restaurants," the agents said.

Inside, the premises has 50 seats with a further 20 available outside.
