REGARDING the proposal to install anti-terror bollards in Hereford city centre, I regard this as a total waste of time and finances (Hereford city roads to close for anti-terrorism works, March 6).

There is absolutely no need for such works. Herefordians are sick and tired of disruptions in the centre of our city, most of which have been white elephants.
In making these so-called improvements to our city, the city has been totally spoiled by people who don’t or won’t understand the nature of our beautiful city.
