A TEENAGE thief has been in court after stealing from Sainsbury's in Hereford.
Ewan Blight entered a guilty plea to one count of theft from a shop when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford this month.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 18-year-old had stolen from Hereford's Barton Yard Sainsbury's supermarket on December 27 last year, just two days after Christmas.
His haul of stolen goods was made up of £194.15 of alcohol and other products, the magistrates were told.

Blight, of Whitecross Road, Hereford, was handed a conditional discharge, meaning he will not be sentenced for the offence unless he commits further offences within the next nine months.
He was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £65, with magistrates saying that they took his guilty plea into account when coming to their decision on the penalty at the hearing on March 6.
No compensation was ordered to be paid.
