A MET Office weather warning has been issued for Herefordshire, predicting heavy rain.

The yellow weather warning for rain is set to come into force at midnight on March 1 and will remain in force until 3pm tomorrow.

Herefordshire experienced heavy rain last week, with flooding in some areas of the county.

Weather warning

An area of heavy rain is expected to move north and east across the warning area tomorrow, falling on already saturated ground.

The warning area covers the West Midlands, south West, south East and most of Wales.

The warning also mentions a possibility of snow.

It says: "Rain is expected on Friday leading to some disruption. Bus and train services will probably take longer. Spray and flooding on roads will probably make journey times longer."

Weather forecast

Met Office forecasters said tomorrow will be wet and that some snow is also likely to affect higher routes and communities for a brief time.

The weekend will be cloudy with light showers and sunny intervals.
