As another week comes to an end, many ITV viewers will be hoping to put their feet up tonight (February 23), ready to tune in to another episode of Coronation Street.
But fans of the soap may have realised it’s missing from the TV schedule once again.
Some might be used to Corrie’s recent schedule changes over the last few weeks due to sporting events such as the Six Nations, which meant the programme was pulled from one of its usual slots earlier this month.
This meant that last week, there was an extra episode that aired on Tuesday (February 13) to make up for it instead.

Why is Coronation Street not on TV tonight?
However, there will be no Weatherfield drama on ITV1 tonight because of the Women's International Football match at 7.30pm.
England v Austria will kick-off from 7.45pm, as Laura Woods presents all the action from the friendly at Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Algeciras, Spain.
The Radio Times summary adds: “The Lionesses were last in action in December when they saw their bid to reach the UEFA Nations League semi-finals, and secure a Paris Olympics place for Great Britain, end despite winning 6-0 against Scotland at Hampden Park.
“Their opponents produced some impressive recent displays when finishing second behind France in their own Nations League group.”

This also means Emmerdale will start at the earlier time of 7pm.
Fans have been reacting to the news of only two Corrie episodes airing this week, with further schedule changes next week, as one posted on X, formerly Twitter yesterday (February 22): “So after tonight, we won't get another episode of Corrie until Monday due to football on Friday! then football again on Tuesday and Wednesday next week! #corrie #coronationstreet”

Another asked: “Hey @itvcorrie I know Corrie isnt on tomorrow/Friday but just checking it hasnt been moved to another day and I missed it by mistake lol think its just been a 2 show ep this week? Not sure whats happening next week as isnt there footy on another day again hmm!!”

Coronation Street will next air on Monday, February 26 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
