THERE is deep water under a bridge near Hereford as today's heavy rain continues to cause problems. 

A video sent to us shows that it is pretty deep on Hoarwithy Road.

Officially, the roads currently closed in Herefordshire as of this evening (Thursday) are the A438 Hereford to Ledbury Road between Tarrington and Trumpet, the B4214 Bromyard to Ledbury Road at Staplow and the A4110 and A4113 at Leintwardine.

The Oak Inn pub at Staplow is remaining open this evening for any locals who may be stranded due to the road closure. 

The treacherous conditions resulted in both Pencombe Primary School and Stoke Prior Primary School to close. 

There is currently a flood warning in place for the river Frome in Bishop's Frome, with river levels expected to remain high.

Flood alerts are also in place for the river Arrow, river Frome, river Leadon catchment, river Lugg (both north and south of Leominster) and the river Wye.
