TWO people have been airlifted to hospital after two cars were involved in a serious crash in Herefordshire. 

The incident, involving a Mitsubishi ASX 2 and a Peugeot 208, happened on the A465 near to Llangua Bridge at around 3.55pm on Saturday (February 10). 

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a man in his 80s, and a passenger in her 70s, were taken to hospital for further treatment, a police spokesperson said.

The driver of the Peugeot, aged in his 40s, and a passenger, also aged in her 40s, were taken to hospital via air ambulance with serious injuries.

Two children, aged eight and 12, who were also in the vehicle were taken to hospital for further treatment via ambulance.
