MURF, a founding member of the Beefy Boys, has been selected to judge the National Burger Awards 2024.
The Beefy Boys won two National Burger Awards last year, for both burger of the year and burger chef of the year, making it the first to win both awards.
Anthony "Murf" Murphy, who was crowned burger chef of the year 2023, will be a judge in the 10th annual National Burger Awards.
Murf said: "It's amazing to be asked to come back as a judge in 2024. The National Burger Awards brings together the best burger talent in the country, and I'm really excited to be a part of it all over again."

Founded in 2011 by four childhood friends, with a shared passion for quality local produce and American-style burgers, The Beefy Boys have quickly built up a solid reputation as creators of outstanding food in the culinary world.
They now operate three restaurants, with the original Meat Boutique in Hereford's Old Market joined by restaurants in Shrewsbury and Cheltenham.
Since their win in 2023, The Beefy Boys have had a whirlwind twelve months. Notably they have appeared twice on on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen Live alongside some of the UK’s most popular chefs, as well as on an episode of The Secret World of Hospitality with Tom Kerridge. Alongside this they have continued to serve their burgers to people across their three restaurants and from their food truck, which travels to events across the country.
