FIRE and ambulance crews were called out to help a woman who got stuck in the mud by a river.
Crews from Worcester and Pershore fire stations, along with Worcester and Evesham boat crews and West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the river in Kempsey this morning (February 1).

The crews attended the scene, with Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service posting: "Crews have rescued a woman stuck in mud by the river in Kempsey this morning.
"She has now been handed over to the care of West Midlands Ambulance Service."
The ambulance service said: "We were called to reports of a woman who had slipped off a path into water and mud up to her thighs. Firefighters managed to rescue her after about 45 minutes and she was assessed by ambulance staff. She had suffered no injuries and was taken home by the ambulance crew as a precaution."
