A MERCEDES owner who repeatedly failed to tell police who was behind the wheel of his car has been banned from the roads for repeat offending.
Anthony Peter Hanania was proven guilty of three count of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of rider of a vehicle when required by magistrates in January.

The court heard from the prosecutor that the 59-year-old, who was not present at the hearing, had failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Mercedes who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence to police in Droitwich when required on June 7, June 22, and August 18.
Hanania, of St Owens Cross, Herefordshire, was fined £660 and received six penalty points for each offence, and was disqualified from driving for 12 months, with magistrates in Worcester saying that a roads ban was obligatory due to repeat offending.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £792 victim surcharge.
