Hereford Magistrates Court heard from prosecutor Paul John that the 39-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Chris Agrey, had stolen a pedal cycle worth £108 from Leominster's Brightwells Auction House on May 21.
Lamputt, of Pulverbatch, Shropshire, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay compensation of £108 to Brightwells, with magistrates saying that they had taken her guilty plea to the charge into account when coming to their decision on the penalty.
She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £150 and a £26 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
