I NOTICE that the building in Eign Street, Hereford, which was a NHS building and in use only a few years ago is now in a sorry state after being vandalised and suffering fire damage.
I understand that a planning application for the site to be redeveloped was refused some years ago and the building is now becoming an eyesore, with no further action being taken.

It is a pity that this building could not have been restored sooner and used for accommodation to ease the housing shortage in the city and to enhance the area and stop it becoming a blot on the landscape.
