THE HEREFORD Beefy Boys restaurant will closing early today and will not open at all tomorrow.

The popular local eatery will be shutting its doors at 4pm today (January 15) and will not reopen until January 17 to facilitate a staff party and a subsequent recovery day.

This comes as a response to the busy Christmas season experienced by the restaurant.

The temporary closure has been well received online, with Laura Donoghue commenting: "Enjoy everyone!

"I love how you do this for your staff! Let them enjoy the night out, which they deserve!

"Have a lush time."

Charlene Butler chimed in, saying: "I love the fact that you are closed to nurse their hangovers.

"Such a good thing to do!"

Founded in Hereford in 2011, Beefy Boys have built up a reputation as creators of outstanding food in the culinary world.

They are known for using 100 per cent Hereford beef in their burgers, sourced from local butchers Neil Powell and local farmer Johnny Morris.
