I READ in the Hereford Times about the installation of anti-terror bollards (Anti-terror bollards for historic streets, December 28).
We have just got rid of one council which wasted our money on cycle paths all around Hereford and now it looks as if we have another one that wants to waste our money – this time by installing bollards around the city.
There are one thousand and one things the money could be used for around the city instead, such as toilets for visitors to our city. Maybe they could use one of the empty shops for this?
What are your thoughts?

The potholes on our roads also need fixing. I hit one which was filled with water the other day, and did I know it! It cost me £250.
I hope these bollards will have lights on them, otherwise people will walk into them after dark.
