A HEREFORDSHIRE nursery has been rated "good" in its latest Ofsted report.
Honey Bees in Leominster was awarded the rating after an inspection carried out in November 2023.
The rating is a step up from the "Inadequate" mark the nursery was given for its last visit in June 2023. Previously it was rated "Inadequate" because of poor quality of education, poor behaviour and personal development of children, and problems with the leadership and management.
The report said that parents were very happy with the provision at the nursery.
It went on to say the ways the nursery could improve. The report suggested the nursery could establish effective ways to monitor changes that had been recently implemented, and could help staff recognise how to organise and extend activities effectively.
Staff would then be able to help children make better progress.
The provision was rated "good" in all four categories of the report: quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.

The inspector said: "Staff implement a curriculum that builds on children's knowledge and focuses on what they need to learn next. As a result, children are curious and motivated to make progress in their learning from their individual starting points."
The inspector went on to praise the leadership team, saying they shared a vision and were working to improve the nursery.
