AN ELDERLY woman who "suffered a medical episode" behind the wheel of her car before being involved in a crash in Herefordshire has been taken to Hereford County Hospital.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the crash at 4pm yesterday (January 7) in Eardisley Road, Kington.
The woman, aged around 80, was taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. Upon arrival, we found a woman who was the driver who is believed to have suffered a medical episode at the wheel."
West Mercia Police officers also attended the crash, with a spokesperson saying: "We were called to the A4111 near Kington shortly after 3.50pm on Sunday, January 7, following a single-vehicle collision. Nobody was seriously injured."
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said that the vehicle had ended up in a hedge, with the fire service using strops to remove it from the hedge and make it safe.
