THIS stunning set of aerial pictures show the extent of flooding in Hereford today (January 4).
Drone shots by Maciej Bajorek, a member of our Herefordshire Drone Photography group, capture areas of the city near the river Wye which have been hit by high water.
The river Wye in Hereford peaked on January 3 at 5.18m at the Old Bridge gauge, and is now falling slowly. The river peaked at 5.23m at Mordiford overnight and also now falling, with slower progress in Ross-on-Wye.

There are five flooding warnings in place throughout the county, with river levels remaining high at the Old Wye Bridge river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected to continue, affecting properties and roads in and around Rotherwas.
