I understand that around Herefordshire there are several schools with integrated community centres.

As villages expand it would seem that new Section 6 money is being made available which will allow primary schools to divest themselves of a community facility responsibility, whilst allowing the schools to expand into the former community provision.

What are your thoughts?

It occurs to me that Herefordshire Council may have a financial commitment in these matters. I wonder if school governing bodies could clarify the issue?

Could it be an undisclosed drain on Herefordshire Council’s limited resources?
