A POP-UP Christmas shop near Leominster that has over 100,000 toys and gifts at bargain prices has proved to be a festive hit.

Kingsland Auction Services has been holding it for the past month, with the last shop being this Friday (December 22).

"Our pop-up shop first started after being offered a large quantity of rattan and garden furniture to sell through our online auctions," said spokesperson Matt Bengry.

"Due to the vast quantity, we wanted to find an additional way to help sell this stock and offer everything at discount prices. This is when the pop-up idea came to fruition after getting some fantastic feedback from our small Christmas pop-up shops we did the previous year.

"We were first allocated a small corner of our new warehouse at the start of the summer. We slowly kept adding new stock, which led to the shop expanding and eventually taking over the whole warehouse.

"After the success of the summer shops, we felt we really wanted to continue and hold some Christmas pop-up shops. We went out to buy bulk quantities of end of line and clearance stock and we were able to buy thousands of different products offering a wide variety of toys, gifts, tools, food and drink giving us the chance to pass on huge savings to our customers on some very well-known brands."

Mr Bengry added that the firm is considering keeping the shop open next year, which will continue to sell big brands at clearance prices.
