HEREFORD has changed significantly over the last decade or so, with the oldest Street View images on Google Maps going back to 2009.

See how Hereford city centre has changed in this time by using the sliders below.

Link road

Hereford's link road opened in 2017 after millions of pounds in investment. Before this, the area was home to Rockfield, a popular DIY shop.

Old Market

Hereford's city centre cattle market was converted into the Old Market shopping centre in 2014. The original cattle market had closed in 2011.

Left Bank

The Left Bank Village has been home to a range of shops, with businesses coming and going over the years.

Commercial Road

The Palace is no longer open on Commercial Road, having been replaced by pizza chain Papa John's which has also since closed. However, Mr Chips is still there.

Bridge Street

Although the names of the businesses have changed, this part of Bridge Street is still home to hairdressers and takeaways.
