Top hairdressers in Hereford according to Google reviews

Many people like to have their hair done around Christmas, and although salons get very busy at this time of year, it can be a great time for a change of style.

We previously asked Hereford Times readers to name their favourite hairdressers and received over 600 responses – but there are even more stylists that have glowing Google reviews and deserve a mention.

In no particular order, these are just a handful of the many salons that have great Google reviews.

Bella Goode Hair

This hair salon in the Rose Garden also provides nail services and includes a training academy for hair and beauty students.

One Google reviewer, Lynnette Stamp, said: “I love the colour and style of my hair. Can’t recommend them enough as I enjoy going.”

Another, Laura Gage, wrote: “Fantastic salon and lovely friendly staff. Had a lovely head massage when I had my hair washed and the restyle I had was perfect! Exactly what I wanted! Couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommend!”

Avant Garde

Based in Church Street, this Hereford salon is one of four Avant Garde salons, with two others based in Worcester and one in Cheltenham.

Jeanette Michael, a Google reviewer, wrote: ““The team were very friendly and couldn’t ask for a better service – just perfect.

“Had trouble with my hair thinning and over-bleaching making it break and need a good cut! Very rarely do I visit hairdressers as I’m always disappointed and end up putting the scissors to it myself. But no – I love my hair and loved the experience. Thank you all so much.”

Fliss Shroom, another reviewer, wrote: “All the staff at Avant Garde are so friendly and welcoming. I feel lucky.”

Studio K

Studio K was one of the salons that came out on top when we asked for readers’ recommendations, and it is also a favourite among Google reviewers.

The salon in Widemarsh Street is owned by Kelly Smith, an experienced hairdresser who welcomes clients of all ages and genders.

A Google review by Kirsty Miller says: “The care and attention paid by the stylist was second to none!”

Ashley Chambers also left a review saying: “Friendly small salon and excellent haircut.”

Hinton 10

A review of the salon by Michelle Breakwell says: "What a find this salon is! A little hairdressers in a back street in Hereford, but what talented stylists they are. 

"Will I go again? Yes!

"I would recommend this gem of a place."
