TWO iconic Hereford cars will be up for auction soon.
A 1961 Messerschmitt KR200 and a 1979 Fiat 500 Gamine, which were both on display at Steels Westgate car dealership for multiple decades, have been consigned to an auction.
This comes as a result of Steels closing down earlier this week, with Spa Motors having taken over the site.

The Messerschmitt has had only two owners during its 62-year-long life and has a mileage of 50,000. It stood pride-of-place in Steels for over 30 years and has recently been re-commissioned.
The car has a guide price of £16,000 to £18,000.
The Fiat 500 Gamine, affectionately known as ‘the noddy car’ among locals, has a mileage of only 14,553 miles. It is said that the car used to belong to Violet Kray, mother of the infamous Kray twins, and that she used it to visit Ronnie Kray whilst he was being kept in Parkhurst Prison.
The Fiat has also been re-commissioned recently and has a guide price of £12,000 to £14,000.
Brightwell’s will be handling the auctioning of both cars, with bidding opening on December 2 and closing on December 6.
