MORE Herefordshire speeders have been fined by magistrates after they were caught breaking the limit.

Colin Morgan was proven guilty of one count of speeding by magistrates in Cheltenham.

The court heard that the 51-year-old had been caught breaking the limit in a 40 miles per hour zone on the A38 Estcourt Road in Gloucestershire while behind the wheel of a DAF on April 14.

Morgan, of Aconbury Avenue, Hereford, was fined £220 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and an £88 victim surcharge.

Ian David Nuttall entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Cheltenham.

The court heard that the 64-year-old Jaguar F-Pace driver had been caught speeding in a 50 miles per hour zone on the A40 at Over Farm in Gloucestershire on April 14.

Nuttall, of Cedar Grove, Ross-on-Wye, was fined £40 and received three penalty points. He must also pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £16 victim surcharge.

Andrew Edgar entered a guilty plea to one count of speeding to magistrates in Worcester.

The court heard that the 28-year-old had been caught breaking the limit while behind the wheel of a Land Rover in a 40 miles per hour zone on the A5 Shotatton Crossroads in Shropshire on April 1.

Edgar, of Shobdon, Herefordshire, was fined £138 and received three penalty points. He was also ordered to pau prosecution costs of £90 and a £55 victim surcharge.
