The court heard from prosecutor Charlotte Morgan that the 29-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor Gerald Vahey, had assaulted a woman by beating in Hereford on October 3.
He had also, without lawful excuse, intentionally or recklessly damaged a Hyundai car, garden, door, phone, and television belonging to the same woman and a Vauxhall Corsa belonging to another person in Hereford on the same date.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Sims, who is of no fixed address, was released on conditional bail.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on October 24.
