A HEREFORDSHIRE teen is starring in a multi-million-pound blockbuster movie.

Matthew Campbell of Much Dewchurch voices one of the leading characters, Chase, in the recently released Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie.

The movie features a star-studded cast including Kim Kardashian and comedian Chris Rock.

It is the second film in the Paw Patrol series, which is based on the popular animated Nickelodeon children’s programme of the same name.

Matthew, 16, portrayed the character in the previous film and has also provided his voice for multiple seasons of the TV series.

He landed the role during the pandemic, turning to voice-acting due to COVID restrictions after making multiple appearances in live-action projects.

His father Martyn Campbell said he was very proud and that Matthew was shaping up to have a successful acting career.

He added that Matthew enjoys his work and is a skilled actor but is not interested in fame.

Matthew and his sister both study at Birmingham Ormiston Academy, which specialises in creative, digital and performing arts.

The siblings will both be performing in X-entricity’s production of 9 to 5: The Musical in the Courtyard  Tuesday, October 17 to Saturday October 21.
