AN ANNUAL food event is returning to a Herefordshire town this weekend.

Leominster Food Fayre will take place between 10am and 3pm on Saturday (September 2) and promises to fill Corn Square with food and drink producers from Herefordshire and beyond.

Edysia Polish shop, continuum conceits, winger macarons and just VW desserts are among those confirmed to be setting up stalls. Children’s music from Bym Welthy and cooking activities provided by kids kitchen will be available in the secret garden at 11 Corn Square.

Entry to the event is free, with parking also being free at all Herefordshire Council operated car parks in Leominster town centre, made possible by Leominster Town Council, Drapers Lane Deli and Visit Herefordshire in collaboration with Herefordshire County BID.

The event will coincide with Herefordshire Art Week, a nine-day celebration of the county’s artists, craft makers and creative businesses. Visitors to Leominster Food Fayre will be able to enjoy local art at many galleries and venues in the town including the Grange Court and the Lion Ballroom.

This year’s fayre will be the second since lockdown, and the seventh overall with the event being founded in 2015.
